Despite a grand effort by Jonas, Mrs. Sheaffer’s class celebrated the 100th day of school on January 28th. Students measure 100 drops, hopped 100 times, walked 100 steps, read 100 words and strung 100 Fruit Loops to make a necklace, among other activities!
Miss Schlechter’s Class celebrated the 100th day of school in a variety of ways. In honor of Valentine’s Day students watched videos and discussed ways they can show kindness.
Hooray for the 100th day! Mrs. Knox’s first graders were busy celebrating the 100th day of school! We made cereal necklaces to practice skip counting and earned a special 100th day of school sign to remember all the fun we had learning thus far.
Recently, HMS 5th grade student, Jade Ergott, finished 3rd overall in the Sumdog Math Challenge! Jade competed on-line against 3,231 students throughout the LIU 12 Region!
During the month of January, kindergarten students learned about the impact that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on America. His dream was to have peace between all races, showing equality for all Americans.
